B.E.T.A. of
Titusville, Inc.
A private, non-profit,
organization that has been serving the North Brevard community for over 21
years as a crisis pregnancy center. Volunteers are needed to staff our
office, sort clothing, wash and mend clothing, fix furniture and other office
tasks. (We have a small staff of all unpaid volunteers. We really need
additional volunteers.)

Brevard, Inc., which operates at the Gibson Community Center, predicts a
funding shortfall will cause a struggle for survival. Please call and

Brevard
County - American Cancer Society's Healthcare Professional
Outreach Program
The
Healthcare Professional Outreach Program is in need of Volunteers in Brevard
County who would like to educate the medical community on the American Cancer
Society's Free programs and services. These programs and services
increase the quality of life for cancer patients as well as diminish the
suffering from cancer. Training and materials will be provided.
Requirements for volunteering include professional demeanor and communication

Brevard County Libraries
Volunteers play a central role in
supporting the services and activities of the sixteen public libraries in
Brevard County.
Brevard Recycle
Groups
This group practices a concept to reduce landfill
and share with other members of the community that may put these items to good
use. In the end you have the joy of taking home a new treasure, putting a
smile on someone's face, and meeting others in your community. There is
a catch. Everything Must Be Free And No Trades. Our mission is to keep
stuff from our bulging landfills by making the free exchange of items from
hands that no longer want it, to hands that do. We promote the reduction
of clutter in the lives of our members, and making new friends in the
process.
Brevard Schools Foundation
Take Stock in Children
program provides deserving low-income children on our community with
scholarships to college or vocational school and guidance from caring mentors.
Mentors meet once a week with students for one hour at their schools.
Students in the Titusville area need compassionate mentors who guide them
toward an education and give them hope for the future. If interested in

Christ Aid Ministry for
Women & Children
A home for women 18
years and up, with and without children. We are a Christ-centered, four year
program for women with drug, alcohol and emotional problems beyond the normal
help that is available.
Horsesisters.org
Horsesisters is a non-profit horse rescue/therapeutic riding and driving
organization here in North Titusville. We are currently looking for
volunteers ages 12 to adult that may be interested in helping with our
programs. We need help assisting riders, feeding, grooming, and exercising
horses, as well as assistance with general farm work and our fund raising

Keep
Brevard Beautiful values the personal satisfaction of the thousands of
volunteers that take personal responsibility and work to maintain our

beautiful. We all generate trash, and to be a responsible and proud citizen we

Volunteer at Parrish
Medical Center
Adult and youth service
programs are church service/community based. Shelter to families and
single adults is provided in crisis situations. Participants are counseled
and guided to overcome their situation and to secure employment and
permanent housing. The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Titusville is open
Monday through Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Save
the Rocket
The Save
the Rocket Web site is devoted to saving the rocket located at Titusville High
School in Titusville, Florida. We are looking for donations and sponsors
to help fund the refurbishment of this Titan 1 rocket, which sits prominently
at the entrance to the high school along US Highway 1.
Space Coast Chapter American Red Cross
Welcome to
the American Red Cross. Each year over one million Americans serve as Red
Cross volunteers serving local community needs - helping people in
emergencies, providing half the nation's blood supply, teaching first aid and
CPR courses, delivering emergency messages to members of the military,
organizing programs for the elderly, for the youth.
Space Coast Habitat for Humanity
In partnership with God's people,
Space Coast Habitat for Humanity builds decent, affordable housing with low
income families who qualify in the North and Central areas of Brevard County.

Titusville
Community Watch Program
The
Titusville Community Watch Program was established as a means of assisting the
citizens of Titusville, Florida and the Titusville Police Department with
community patrols, utilizing volunteer members performing a civic service.
Community Watch members patrol
residential neighborhoods, paying close attention to suspicious and unusual
activity and investigate already occurred, non-violent crimes that are
dispatched to them by the Police Department. Thus, freeing sworn uniformed
officers to concentrate their efforts on more severe or crucial calls.
Titusville Playhouse
TPI is seeking volunteers for its Volunteer
Corps. TPI needs volunteers to assist in a variety of areas including
general office assistance, ushers, set construction, special events,
