Please understand that this is in no way a scientific exercise.  It was meant only as "lite" entertainment and something fun for the community.

Although I did make a few nominations (most of which did not place in the top three), I did not vote.  I thought it important that I maintain the role of a strictly 3rd party, unbiased vote counter.  Also: I did not collect any personal information on voters.  I set up the survey so that the votes came to me through a third-party source.  It was impossible for me (as far as I know) to know who was voting.

I was happy to see that all the nominees in the 'Best" categories did well.  Most of the nominees were just a small amount of votes away from making the top three.
